We were asked to write a blog about how we were called to this mission trip. Here is my story..... I was taking classes at a community college this summer and had plans to become an accountant when God showed up in June and decided to change MY plans and make them HIS. The second week in June was exactly two weeks from the year that I went to Costa Rica on a missions trip and I woke up in the middle of night with a dream about that trip. Ever since that day I couldn't stop thinking about missions and after a few weeks of thinking and praying, I knew that God was calling me to work with Adventures In Missions. Truthfully, I knew in my heart that I would never be fully happy unless I obeyed this calling and joined community life with AIM. When I was about nine years old, I felt the calling of missions on my life and unfortunatly the devil has tried to do everything possible to keep me from obeying. I'm not positive what God has in store for my life after these next eleven months but I do know that I will never regret following this calling even though it has already streached me and changed me and I have not even started the journey!

Praise God for never letting His children go!

In Christ,
