Sometimes in life we make plans or we assume we know where the path we're on is going and then all of a sudden, things change. :) Although change is good, sometimes it can be hard. Well this past month in the ComLife house and my life there has been a TON of changes. So for starters, ComLife the program I came on with AIM in January is closing the book on July 31st instead of its original close date of November. Leadership in ComLife and at AIM have discussed and prayed for some time about the move to drop the program early and feel that it is best for our community and our individual growth to do so. Maybe someday in the future God will open a door for the program to start again, new and revised or maybe He has some different adventure for AIM but at this time the ComLife program does not have a new start date. One thing I know for sure is that God is in control here at AIM and His Kingdom work is being done with or without ComLife. So now I'm sure you are wondering what this means for me.... :)
Part of the ComLife program was to work in the AIM office 20 hours a week. During my time here I have been working for a wonderful lady, Serena in Donor Relations. I have enjoyed working under her very much and it seems as though she likes having me around because she has offered me a position to come on as a full time staff member with AIM and continue to work under her. :) After much prayer I felt this is where the Lord was calling me to stay so as of August 1st I am full time staff!
Currently I am learning how to stand in a large amount of faith and trust with God as my situation here changes. Talk about faith....believing without seeing/knowing what comes next!!! So as you can imagine, I need your prayers during this time of questions and radical trust. Along with your prayers, I am in need of financial support to be a full time staff member. My goal is $1900.00 monthly that I need to raise in order to stay here and serve the Kingdom. This includes any gifts, large or small, one time, quarterly or monthly. Would you please pray about supporting me monthly and have a part in changing lives for the glory of Christ?
